I earned my B.S. in Biology from Haverford College and my Ph.D. in Immunobiology from Yale University. I've worked at small private liberal arts colleges (Mount Holyoke College and Goucher College) and public comprehensive and research institutions (Nevada State College and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County). I have loved every part of my career as a faculty member, faculty senate chair, department chair, Assistant Vice Provost, Vice Provost, and Interim Provost. I have had the fortune of working with incredibly deserving students, passionate faculty, and talented leaders that share my commitments to equity, innovation and collaboration. You can read about my activities as an administrator on the Leadership page, and my activities as a faculty member on the Teaching and Research pages.
